Family founders
Anne GERARD and Jie MENG-GERARD are brother and sister. One has a foot in the world of farmers, accompanied and befriended with dairy farmers over several regions of France. The other has a foot in the deep technologies community. One is a mechanical engineer who studied agriculture tech with farmers, the other is a Computer Sciences engineer, with hardware and software background.

Both are animated by this strong belief that science and progress has to serve back earth.
Agriculture and food production has now the possibility, and therefore the duty, to be more human and agroecological than ever.

Also, alas, they both love butter and cheese.

Great projects always need an even greater team. The one time we were reunited together !!
Anne et Jie, demi-soeur et frère, respectivement ingénieure en mécanique et ingénieur en Intelligence Artificielle, sont les deux co-fondateurs.

Après avoir visité des dizaines de fermes et échangé avec des agriculteurs, marché dans des bouses de vaches, pris des éclaboussures d'urine et câliné des vaches, il est devenu évident que quelques briques technologiques pouvaient radicalement changer le confort de vie, les revenus, et donc l'attractivité du métier d'éleveur.
Ali, fraîchement sorti des Mines ParisTech en distanciel (#Covid) travaille avec nous depuis le Liban pour s'occuper des algorithmes de Computer Vision, tandis que Marc et YiFan ont été réquisitionnés pour couvrir l'électronique et les systèmes embarqués.
Ce petit bout d'équipe qui finalement semble complètement passionné par le caca, nous a permis d'arriver à un premier prototype fonctionnel en 10 mois ! Ce prototype a été nommé POOPY par décision collégiale, et est déployé courant avril dans un premier élevage de chevaux en extérieur, à Angers.

We are looking for people all along the value chain of dairy products, from the soil composition to optimize nutrition of our cows up to the dairy transformation processes, from mechanical machines, some IoT, all the way to Machine Learning and Computer Vision to assist our 100% outdoor milk farms.
